When we are faced with a situation, we have a decision to make. We can give in to fear, or we can choose to trust the Lord. When we choose to trust the Lord we are delivered from stress, strife and fear.

When we are trusting, we are listening to the Lord, trusting Him to direct our steps. We are continually giving the situation over to Him, and declaring with our mouth that we trust Him. We can also praise Him for the plans He has, that they are good plans, not to harm us but to prosper us (Jer 29:11).

Fear comes naturally, but choosing to trust is a choice.

But I trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation (Psalm 13:5).
