Day 51 He Knows Your Pain  Page 101-102

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

 Psalm 34:18 NLT

Many a day I walked, head down, with tears in my eyes, away from people who misunderstood me, defined me by my pain, and treated me as If I had something they didn’t want to catch. At times all I wanted was to crawl into a hole and hide away for the rest of my life.

Behind closed doors I would let myself cry, hiding the pain of their rejection from the world. And in the midst of that hurt and pain, pain so desperate and deep that it caused me to fall to floor and shake with sobs, wondering if I’d ever be happy, or even be normal, I heard the still small voice of the Lord rising up within my spirit.

I love you. I love you and I understand what you are going through. I understand what happened to you, I saw what no one else saw, and I will take care of you.

Sit here with me a while and share your heart with me. I want to hear all about it. I will never run away. I am not afraid, and I will never reject you.

Your Heavenly Father sees your pain.

He understands.

He knows.

And He wants to heal.

Come as his child, sit on your papa God’s lap, and tell Him all about it. He wants to hear your voice, is waiting to hear your hearts cry, and can bring healing to your heart.

Come to the one who truly loves you and can heal your heart of every hurt, wound, bruise and pain. He will not reject you. He is not afraid of your pain, and will never abandon you.

Prayer

Father God, I choose to come to you now. Give me the courage to trust you, and pour out my heart to you. I ask Father, that as I do, you would bring healing to my heart. Let me find peace in your presence. In Jesus name, Amen.
