One of the things I talk about in my book is a vision I had years ago. It was so very vivid and impactful that I remember It clearly to this day.

In the vision was a beautiful bride, all dressed in her wedding gown. She was practically glowing she was so beautiful! Then I saw that she was sitting down, looking at herself in a full length mirror.

But what she saw in that mirror was not what she was at all. That beautiful bride saw a girl dressed in ripped up clothes with dirty hair, and a dirty face. She saw herself as unloved and uncared for.

And then the Lord showed me that that is how I saw myself; because of the way other people had treated me, I saw myself as something far less than what He had made me to be.

You, like me, may have seen yourself through the eyes of how others have treated you; through the eyes of the abuse you suffered, the trauma you experienced, or the broken heart you just can’t seem to overcome.

But I want you to know, dear Daughter of the King, that you are loved more than you know!

Close your eyes and picture yourself in your mind. Now imagine God giving you the most beautiful wedding dress, the one you always wanted.  Imagine him giving you the most gorgeous shoes, and something pretty for your hair.

And to top it all off, He puts a bouquet of flowers in your hands, and says to you, “I love you. I love you and I want to keep you with me forever. I think you are beautiful, and I love you so much I can’t take my eyes off of you.”

Then say to yourself out loud. “I am a daughter of the King of Kings, and I am loved by my Father in heaven.”

Receive His love for you today. And know that you are Beautiful, beloved and of great price in His kingdom!
