It all starts with your heart. Is your heart hard, or is it soft and pliable? Just as the potter works with the clay,  so the Lord works in our hearts. If the clay is hard, it’s hard to work with, but if it is soft and pliable, it is easily shaped into what the creator wants it to be.

Lift up your heart before the Lord and ask Him to do a work in you, to make your heart soft and pliable. Ask Him to help you trust Him with His plans for your life. Will you let go of the reigns and let Him?

Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand (Isaiah 64:8 NIV).
