I remember it clearly.dafodil

My daffodils seemed as if they were looking to heaven, with their leaves outstretched in worship.

The sun shone upon them just right that morning, and as I looked I thought that we too, like those flowers, can rise out of the mud and muck to worship the Lord.

Things in our lives may have left us buried under bitterness and unforiveness, pain and sorrow. But as we worship our creator and walk in His ways, He will shine His light upon our darkness and help us to walk in freedom. He will pick us up, wash us clean and dress us in beautiful new robes.

Dear sister in Christ, you are valuable, treasured and precious to your heavenly father. You have a destiny to fulfill. You were planted in this earth with great purpose (see Jeremiah 29:11).

As you overcome those things that have happened to you, God will take what was meant for evil and turn it for good (see Romans 8). We in our limited state don’t understand how He could do that, when in reality, all we need to do is sit back and watch, trusting that what He says is true.

Even if you don’t feel like it, even if it’s the last thing you want to do, burst out in song and sing like you mean it.

Keep singing. Keep worshipping.

Your healing is coming.

Praise the name of Jesus today.

Love,

Carolyn
