Sometimes it’s easy to see other people as the enemy, instead of someone who Jesus died for; especially when they’ve been unkind, rude or abusive. At times we may need to pull away so that those people are not able to hurt us, but we can still pray for them.

We can plead the blood of Jesus over them, ask the Lord to reveal Himself to them and do a mighty work in their life.

The Lord cares about the fact that you’ve been hurt, and He wants to heal you. He also wants to work in their lives. Commit those that have hurt you over to the Lord, and choose to forgive them. Ask the Lord to heal your heart, but also to work His perfect work in their lives as well.

One of the greatest acts of love is prayer.

But I tell you; love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you (Mat 5:44 NIV).
