Sometimes the things God asks us to do seem impossible. We look at ourselves and think there is no way I can do that by myself.
And you know what? You’re right! There is no way that in ourselves we can do those things. It is Him working in us and through us.
It’s really a point of surrender. Will we stop looking at ourselves and look at Jesus instead? Will we acknowledge that in ourselves we cannot do the things He’s asked, but that In Christ all things are possible?
Will we lay down our own agendas and take up His? Will we let Him in to do the things He wants to do in our own hearts first?
Will we trust Him?
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5 NKJV).
