Sadly, a lot of us have had many people fail us, time and time again. We’ve experienced hurt, rejection and betrayal. When it comes to trusting someone, a lot of us have learned not to, or that we just simply can’t. We’ve been hurt too many times.
There is someone who won’t fail you. He is a good Father, and His love for you is overwhelming. He knows your heart has been broken, He knows what you went through; and He knows how hard it is to trust anyone once you’ve been hurt. He knows, yet He can also heal. You don’t have to stay in that place of hurt. There is someone you can trust, who will help you overcome that hurt. Your heavenly Father cares very much about you.
Heavenly Father, I pray that you would help me to understand your love for me. Help me to know I can trust you. Heal my heart Lord, where it’s been wounded and bruised by people I should have been able to trust. Help me Lord, I pray, In Jesus Name, Amen.
