When we see someone who seems strong in the Lord, remember, it all started with Christ.
That person came to Christ, and the seed of Christ was planted. Like a flower sprouts from the ground and grows, so that person had to grow until they became the blooming flower they are.
You too, if you have received Christ as your savior, have that seed of Christ in you. As you grow in Him and continue in your faith, you also will begin to bud and bloom, spreading the fragrance of His kingdom wherever you go (2 Cor 2:14 NKJV).
Let’s not look at ourselves as inferior or small. Let’s see ourselves as growing in Christ. The seed of Christ has been planted in us, and as we continue in prayer, in the word and seeking His presence through worship, we too will bud and bloom.
Remember that flowers do not grow themselves. From a seed they sprout from the ground, reaching for heaven, and as they do, it is God who makes them beautiful.
And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ (Romans 1:6 NIV).
