Reading for the Day: Mark 1:40-45
In verse 40 who does Jesus meet?
What does the man say?
Have you ever doubted that God was willing to work in your life?
Have things seemed impossible?
When Things Seem Impossible
My own situation also seemed impossible. After suffering severe trauma and abuse, I grew up barely able to look anyone in the eye. I spent more of my days crying than not, dealing with painful and violent memories. Fear, anxiety and nightmares tormented me.
The hopelessness I felt was mirrored in the eyes of those who were supposed to know how to help. It is only because of Jesus that I am free today.
For with God nothing will be impossible.
Luke 1:37 NKJV
Your Impossible Situation is Not Who You Are
Your impossible situation may not be the same as mine. But whatever it is, dear sister, it does not define you. It is not who you are.
You are the daughter of the King of all Kings, and He is the God of the impossible.
I invite you to surrender your heart and your life to Him and ask Him to work in that impossible situation.
Prayer
In the name of Jesus, I break the lie that God isn’t willing to work in my life. I break any lies over my mind that say I deserved what happened or that I’ve done something so bad that God won’t help me. I break those lies and renounce all agreement with them now. I declare the truth out loud; My God is the God of the impossible and He Is willing to work in my life.
Now write your own prayer surrendering your impossible to God.
In His Love,
Carolyn
