The Bible says we can recognize each other by our love for one another (John 13:35).
Our family has a mailman who, before we even got to know him we suspected he was a christian, by the way he went above and beyond in his work and the way he treated people. We weren’t surprised when we found out he’s christian, his actions had spoken louder than words ever could.
Are we walking in love towards the people around us? Or are we acting like the world?
Are we walking in forgiveness, or are we staying offended and letting hatred dictate our actions?
Do our actions line up with our words?
Are we genuine?
If we love our christian brothers and sisters, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead. Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don’t have eternal life within them (1 John 3:14-15 NLT).
Let’s all be like that mailman in 2013! 🙂
Yes! I agree:)
