The Lord loves you so much He cannot take his eyes off of you. He knows when you sit and when you rise, and He knows your every thought (Psalm 139:2).
The Lord wants to spend time with you. He is likened to a husband in the Bible (Isaiah 54:5). The thing that makes marriages grow and stay alive is the relationship between two people. Is there a special relationship between you and the Lord? Do you make time for Him and let him take you on dates?
Make an appointment with the Lord today. Let him take you on a date, even if it’s just at home sitting in His presence, letting Him pour into you. Put on some worship music and close your eyes. As you spend time with Him a special relationship will be formed. It will grow deeper over time, until you are a part of one another.
You are beautiful to the Lord and his desire is for you (Song of Songs 7:10). Don’t be afraid to come into His presence. His desire is not to punish you but to cleanse you. 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
