When I am Afraid, I will trust in you (Psalm 56:3 NIV).
If we don’t trust the Lord, how can he lead us out of the wilderness we’ve been in? He has such good things for us.
Some of us want to trust our Heavenly Father but we’re afraid or we don’t know how. Others have let us down and hurt us. Our reaction is to try and protect ourselves from being hurt again.
We can call on the Lord in those times we have trouble trusting Him; we can ask Him to help us, and He will. We don’t have to be afraid of asking Him for help.
All you must do is call out to your Heavenly Father and He comes running. You are His child and He wants to help you. You don’t have to do this all by yourself.
Heavenly Father, I want to trust you. Please help me to keep my eyes on you and nothing else. Please help me to walk with you, trusting each step we take together, knowing that you have good things for me. Help me Father, I pray, in Jesus name, Amen
