Yesterday I sat with a group of ladies at church while attending a leadership training. We were having a discussion about how we could better ourselves in our areas of influence. Many things came up, but there was one thing that we kept coming back to: a great relationship with God.

The more time we spend at Jesus’ feet the better lives we will live, and the better examples we will be to others. When I spend time with God, in the word, in prayer, and just being silent before Him, He gives me exactly what I need. It is I who am blessed.

No one may see what you’re doing when you take that time to be with him, but everyone will be able to see the growth that comes out of it.
