I remember when a woman from Bible college prayed for me to know that I was more than a conqueror in Christ. I was just coming out of some horrible circumstances and brokenness seemed to always be with me. Fear, terror, anxiety, insecurity, feeling less than were my constant companions. So when she prayed that for me, immediately the thought came to my mind, but I don’t feel like a conquereor at all. In fact I felt just he opposite.
And I think that for many of us, this can be true with several aspects of what God says about us in His Word. We hear what it says, we know what it says, but down deep in our very core, we believe something very different about ourselves.
Today I want to give you 4 verses that have really helped me to grow in knowing and experiencing God’s love. Take the verses that speak to you, write them down and look at them daily for the next 30 days.
4 Verses to Heal Your Soul

Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Deuteronomy 7:7 -8
The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;
but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
John 16:27
for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
